The US Open Golf 2025 is an annual national golf competition in the United States. This is the 125th edition of the championship. In 1895, it was founded. This year’s US Open will take place on 12 June and end on 15 June. Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, is the venue for the Championship. The U.S Open Golf 2025 Prize Money Breakdown will mostly see a spike this time.

Bryson James Aldrich DeChambeau is the defending champion, having defeated Rory McIlroy in 2024 by just one stroke. He will look to win the championship for the second straight time. Rory McIlroy is the runner-up in the past two editions and will want to end up on the other side this time around.

This tournament will be played in a 72-hole stroke format. The score of each player is accumulated after the four rounds, with 18 holes played on each round. All the competitors have to complete 72 holes with the lowest strokes.

As of today, there is no confirmation about the U.S. Open Golf 2025 (Men’s) Prize Money. The amount was increased in 2024 compared to 2023; it is most likely to happen this time around as well.

The prize money purse for 2024 was $21.5 million. Bryson James Aldrich DeChambeau, who was the champion last year, received $4,300,000, whereas the runner-up, Rory McIlroy, earned $2,322,000. Eventually, the players who finished in T3 position received $1,229,051.

How to Watch a Live Stream?

Since the 2020 tournament, NBCUniversal has held the domestic TV rights for the championship. They signed a 12-year deal. The coverage rights on NBC, USA Network, and Peacock also belong to them.

For the Indian viewers, Sony Network had the rights to stream the US Open till 2025. Still, there is no confirmation on the extension between the parties.
