UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2025 is going to happen from June 11 to June 27. It will be the 25th Edition of the competition. Slovakia will host this competition for the second time. Earlier, they hosted in the year 2000. The prize money is not yet out publicly.
Slovakia, Spain, England, Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, France, Ukraine, Italy, Denmark, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Georgia, Slovenia, and Finland are the teams that will be participating in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2025.

Spain is the defending champion, winning the tournament in 2023 by defeating Switzerland in the finals with a scoreline of 2-1. Sergio Gomez and Juan Miranda were the scorers for Spain, while Zeki Amdouni did it for Switzerland.

Format
Sixteen teams play in the tournament. Each group consists of four teams. All the teams play against each other. The group winners and runners-up qualify for the knockout stages. In the group stages, if a team wins, they get +3 points, in place of a tie, both teams get +1 each, and if they lose, then no points is rewarded.
Single-leg knockout games are held. The winner of a group plays against the runner-up of the other group, as decided in the quarter-finals.
