The Austrian Bundesliga is a top-tier professional football league in Austria. In 1974, the league started. There are a total of twelve teams in the competition. Rapid Wien is the most successful team in the history of the Austrian Bundesliga. They have won the title a total of 32 times and finished runner-up 29 times.
Eventually, in 1899, the club was founded. They play home matches at the Allianz Stadion, which is located in Vienna, Austria. The stadium holds a capacity of 28,345. It was the 2007-2008 season where they won their last title, and the wait still continues.
Alexander Wrabetz is the current chairman of Rapid Wien, and their interim coach is Stefan Kulovits. We will wait and see who becomes their new manager.
