When we look at the points table, we can see teams like Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia have booked their places in the last eight, while Afghanistan, China, and Thailand go home. Evandra Florasta from Indonesia and Minato Yoshida from Japan are the leading goal scorers in the tournament with three goals each. While Mohamed Gamal from the UAE and Sayfiddin Sodikov from Uzbekistan lead the assists chart.
Who Will Be the Next Asian Champion?
Japan is the record winners of the tournament and defending champions, but that doesn’t mean they have the upper hand, as football is surely unpredictable. When we look at this season’s performance.
Uzbekistan is the team that has impressed a lot. Their future looks bright, as we just saw Abdukodir Khusanov was bought by the English Premier League giants, Manchester City. Surely, teams like Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia won’t make their job easy.
