The Ugandan Premier League is a top-tier football tournament in Uganda. This is the 57th edition since its emergence. The 2024-2025 season commenced on 13 September 2024, and the final match day is 24 May 2025. Vipers SC is the champion of the Ugandan Premier League 2025 after winning their game 2-0 against Kitara. This is the seventh title of Vipers SC in their history. The winners of the league get a qualification for the CAF Champions League, whereas the second-place team gets a qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup.
Basically, the bottom three teams get relegated to the FUFA Big League, which is the second-tier football league in Uganda. The FUFA Big League promotes the top three teams to the Ugandan Premier League.

The club was formed in 1975 and gained promotion to the top tier in 1979. Earlier, the club’s name was Nakivubo Boys and was changed to Nakivubo Villa in 1981. Their home ground is Mutesa II Stadium. The stadium holds a capacity of 20,200.
Sports Club Villa is the most successful club in the Ugandan Premier League. They have won a total of seventeen titles. Last year, they won the title, and it was more special as they won it after 20 years. Apart from the titles of the Ugandan Premier League, they have also won nine Ugandan Cup Titles and three CECAFA Club Cup Titles.
