The Indian Super League (ISL) is a professional and the highest division football league in Indian Football. Basically, the league commenced its first season in 2024. Now we are in the 12th edition of Indian Football. There is no confirmation whether the ISL 2025-26 season will happen or not. Nevertheless, we have some transfers already done, so let us discuss the ISL 2025–26 Transfer List so far.
Inter Kashi will be a new team in the 2025-2026 Indian Super League season as they won the I-League. Earlier, Churchill Brothers were declared as the winners of the I-League after a few weeks of the I-League season had ended, but on 18th July 2025, Inter Kashi were given an extra three points and the spot in the 2025-26 ISL season. Churchill Brothers had broken a rule of registering a foreign player, which caused them to lose the title and a place in the ISL.
In the previous season of the ISL, Mohun Bagan Super Giant won both the Indian Super League title and the ISL Shield. It was their seventh League title and second ISL Shield Title. They are one of the most loved and consistent teams in the Indian Super League. Jose Francisco Molina Jimenez is the manager of the team. he joined the club last year in June.
ISL 2025–26 Transfer List: How All 14 Clubs Reshaped Their Squads for 2025–26
The transfer window is the most important part of every team to strengthen their squad and bring in players that are needed. It is still unclear if the competition will happen or not this season, as the dates are not confirmed. Let us look at the transfers that have happened for the 2025-2026 season so far:
Mumbai City FC
It is fair to say that Mumbai City FC started the season even worse than expected. At the end, they somehow got their place in the last six and qualified for the play-offs. They were trashed 5-0 by Sunil Chehtri’s Bengaluru FC in the knockouts.
They have the most players leaving the club; the players are Vishal Joon, Thaer Krouma, Sahil Panwar, Bipin Singh, Jayesh Rane, Daniel Lalhimpuia, Amey Ranawade, Jeremy Manzoro, Nikolas Karelis, Prabir Das, Hardik Bhatt, Yoell Van Neiff, and Hitesh Sharma. Zothanpuia, Lalnuntluanga Bawitlung, and Jorge Pereyra Diaz are the new signings, whereas the centre back Tiri was given a contract extension.
Bengaluru FC
After losing out in the ISL Cup to the Champions, Mohun Bagan, Bengaluru FC’s season ended on a not-so-great note. They have released a few players, and the players are Jorge Pereyra Diaz, Jessel Carneiro, Pedro Capo, Alberto Noguera, and Harsh Patre. So far, they have brought Ashique Kuruniyan to the club. Shivaldo Singh, Naorem Roshan Singh, and Lalremtluanga Fanai have been given contract extensions.
FC Goa
Goa finished second on the league table with eight points behind the champions. They lost in the semi-final of the ISL Cup to Bengaluru FC 3-2 on aggregate. One of the shocking exits from FC Goa is the young left-back, Jay Gupta. The other exits are Rowllin Borges, Laxmikant Kattimani, Armando Sadiku, Carl McHugh, and Odei Onaindia. Javier Siverio, Harsh Patre, Ronney Wilson, David Timor, and Pol Moreno are the new signings.
NorthEast United FC
Not one of the seasons for NorthEast United FC. They ended their ISL campaign in the 4th position and lost the semi-finals of the ISL Cup to Mohun Bagan. Just like Mumbai City FC, they too have a lot of players leaving the club; the players are Mohammed Ali Bemammer, Nestor Albiach, Hamza Regregui, Mirshad Michu, Shighil Nambrath Shaji, and Phalguni Singh.
They have trusted their players and given them contract extensions. Macarton Louis Nickson, Jithin MS, Michel Zabaco, Mayakkannan, Soraisham Dinesh Singh, and Alaeddine Ajaraie are the ones to get it. Andy Rodriguez, Lalrinzuala Lalbiaknia, Jairo Samperio, and Chema Nunez are the new signings.
Mohun Bagan Super Giant
The Champions of the ISL title, as well as the ISL Cup, are not that busy in the transfer market. They have trust in all the players, as Ashique Kuruniyan has left the club. At the same time, they have got in Abhishek Tekcham and given Tom Aldred a new contract for the next season.
Hyderabad FC
In the ISL 2024-2025 season, Hyderabad FC were second last in the league phase points table. They had the worst defence in the league, with opponents scoring 47 times against them in 24 matches. It is fair to say their transfer market is not that busy so far. Soyal Joshi and Cy Goddard have left the club, whereas Rafael Riberio and Lamgoulen Hangshing are the new arrivals.
Kerala Blasters FC
The Kerala Blasters FC surely have one of the seasons to forget in the 2024-2025 ISL season. They were eighth in the league phase and did not qualify for the ISL Cup. Kerala Blasters FC have signed two players so far, Arsh Sheikh and Amey Ranawade.
The players who will not feature for them in the next season are Kwame Peprah, Kamlajit Singh, Jesus Jimenez, Ishan Pandita, Sauvrav Mandal, and Milos Drincic.
Chennaiyin FC
One of the other teams that has had a bad season has to be Chennaiyin FC, as they finished 11th in the points league. They have not signed any players so far for the next season, whereas Jiteshwor Singh has received a new contract. Edwin Vanspaul, Ryan Edwards, Wilmar Jordan, Gil Kiyan Nassiri, and Connor Shields have left the club.
Jamshedpur FC
Another team that has qualified for the ISL Cup knockouts but couldn’t win the cup is Jamshedpur FC. They were eliminated by the Cup winners, Mohun Bagan, in the semi-finals. Jamshedpur FC has signed a wide variety of players. The players are Vincy Barreto, Daniel Lalhlimpuia, Jayesh Rane, Nishu Kumar, Sarthak Golui, Manvir Singh, and Calvin Baretto. They have parted ways with Javier Siverio, Jordan Murray, Muhammed Uvais, and Javi Hernandez. Germanpreet Singh and Ashutosh Mehta have got new contracts.
East Bengal FC
The arch-rivals of Mohun Bagan, East Bengal FC, ended their ISL 2024-2025 campaign in the ninth position on the points table. Some of the brightest young talents East Bengal FC has signed have to be Jay Gupta and Edmund Lalrindika.
Their other signings are Martand Raina, Miguel Figueira, Bipin Singh, Rashid, and Kevin Sibille. Eventually, the players who have left the club are Richard Celis, Raphael Messi Bouli, Cleiton Silva, Hector Yuste, and Hijazi Mahe. PV Vishnu and Souvik Chakrabarti got new contracts.
Odisha FC
After just missing out on the ISL playoffs spot by three points, Odisha FC would love to come back strong in the ISL 2025-2026 season. Their plan seems a bit different at this moment as they have just signed one player, Mafela.
The departure list surely has a lot of players leaving. Dorielton Gomes, Jerry Mawihmingthanga, Diego Mauricio, Amey Ranawade, Raynier Fernandes, Jerry Lalrinzuala, Mourtada Fall, Roy Krishna, and Ahmed Jahouh. Thoiba Singh and Saviour Gama receive new contracts.
Punjab FC
The arrival list of players for the Punjab FC team includes Muhammad Uvais and Bijoy Varghese. After finishing in 10th place, they have let go of some of the players; the players basically are Ivan Novoselec, Filip Mrzljak, Petros Giakoumakis, Ezequiel Vidal, Luka Majcen, and Asmir Suljic. The Indian forward, Leon Augustine, is given a contract extension ahead of the start of the new season.
This is basically the ISL 2025–26 Transfer List so far. Mohammedan S.C., the team that finished last in the previous season’s League table, is yet to make itself busy in the transfer market. As of now, there are no departures, arrivals, or new contracts in the club.
