Safety is important for all players and staff; that’s the reason to keep Cricket on Hold, which is why the Indian Premier League IPL 2025 is suspended amid rising border tensions. This news has reverberated like a thunderclap through the sporting world. One way or another, the BCCI has issued an announcement of the immediate suspension of the IPL 2025 tournament, citing growing border tensions. As of now, IPL is just suspended for a week.

After the terror attack on Pahalgam on April 22, India replied back. This has led to rising military tensions between India and Pakistan, including recent drone attacks and airstrikes. The reason was simple: to prioritize player and public safety, hence, the BCCI suspended IPL 2025.
