Brock Lesnar’s Son Picked in WHL Draft: Will Duke Lesnar follow Brock’s path? Or Forge His Own Legacy.

Duke Lesnar is now taking a different path than his father, Brock Lesnar. As his father took in professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. Duke is making his own mark in the sport of ice hockey. At just fourteen years old, Duke has already shown his potential on the ice. Most recently, he was drafted in the Western Hockey League Prospects Draft. The Medicine Hat Tigers selected him as the 115th overall pick.

In the 2024-2025 season, playing for the Notre Dame Hounds U15 Prep team in Saskatchewan. Duke put up some good stats and proved he’s serious about the game. He suited up for 30 games and scored 13 goals and 15 assists for a total of 28 points. Duke also took a leap into the physical side of the game, as he accumulated 43 penalty minutes on the season.

Hockey seems to be a family thing for Duke, as he is not the first person in his family to play the game. His older brother, Alexander, plays hockey at Saint John’s University, and it appears the Lesnars are committed to the sport. Duke’s other brother, Turk, didn’t just play for Notre Dame but was a teammate of Duke. Supporting each other’s sports careers must have been normal for them growing up.
