The wait for all the Kabaddi fans is over as the Pro Kabaddi League is back with a bang, and we have the twelfth season of the tournament. There are a total of twelve teams that will play the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League, just like the last season. Bengal Warriorz, UP Yoddhas, U Mumba, Bengaluru Bulls, Dabang Delhi, Telugu Titans, Tamil Thalaivas, Gujarat Giants, Haryana Steelers, Jaipur Pink Panthers, Patna Pirates, and Puneri Paltan are the teams. There will be a total of four venues for the Pro Kabaddi League 2025. We will see a total of 108 matches in this edition.
PKL Season 12 points table and standing rules
The first match of the Pro Kabaddi League 2025 will be between Telugu Titans and Tamil Thalaivas on 29th August. Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Vizag will be the venue for the first game. All 12 teams will play a total of eighteen matches in the Pro Kabaddi League 2025. For every win, a team gets two points, whereas for every loss, no points are given.

We will see a new Tie-breaker rule system from this season onwards. If the match is tied, a total of seven players from both teams come on to the field. Both team nominates five different raiders, who raid one by one. Basically, the baulk line is the bonus line. Lastly, there would be no outs or revivals; just the point from the raid will be taken into consideration.
Let’s assume there is a tie after this shootout, we will see a golden raid. There will be a coin toss, and the team that wins the toss will be given the right to raid. If the teams score a point, they win. In case there is a tie here, too, then lastly, the coin toss will decide the winner.
What is the knockout format for the Pro Kabaddi League 2025?
Surely, the new knockout format gives fair chances till the 8th place to get in the Pro Kabaddi League 2025 final. We will see two play-ins, three eliminators, two qualifiers, and a mini qualifier this time in the Pro Kabaddi League 2025.
First, we will see two play-ins where teams from 5th place to 8th place will compete. The two winners will play in the Eliminator 1. After this, the 3rd-place and the 4th-place teams play in the Mini-qualifier. The winner of this match gets a place in the Eliminator 3, whereas the loser will compete in the Eliminator 2 with the winner of the Eliminator 1.

We will see the winner of the mini qualifier play the winner of Eliminator 2 in Eliminator 3. The winners go to Qualifier 2. Certainly, the first-place and the second-place teams play in Qualifier 1. The winner goes to the final, whereas the loser has one more chance as they play in Qualifier 2.
