UEFA Conference League is a yearly competition that is organised and managed by UEFA (Union of European Football Associations). Only the teams from Europe can participate in the competition. This year is the fourth edition of this tournament. When we talk about the UEFA Conference League past winners list, each year a different team has won.
The winner of the UEFA Conference League gets a promotion to the next season’s UEFA Europa League. Mostly, the lower-ranked UEFA member associations play this competition. All the teams have to qualify from their particular league standings, as no one gets direct entry to the competition.
This time around, we will also get a first-time champion. We are all set to see Real Betis take on Chelsea in the final, which is scheduled for 28th May 2025. The venue for the final is Stadion Wrocław in Wrocław, Poland.

Player of the season in past seasons
In the first season of the UEFA Conference League, which was 2021-22, Roma’s attacking midfielder, Lorenzo Pellegrini, won the player of the season award. In the following season, 2022-23, Declan Rice won the player of the season award because he played a vital role in West Ham’s victory. Last year, Moroccan striker Ayoub El Kaabi won the best player award.
Best young player of the season in past seasons
Every season, when a team wins, there is a young breakout star, and they should be rewarded for that. In the first edition, Luis Sinisterra won the award, and in the next season, Andy Diouf won it. Last year, Igor Thiago won the best young player award.
Venues for the next two Finals
UEFA has already announced the venue for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 Conference League finals. Red Bull Arena, in Leipzig, Germany, will host the 2025-2026 final, whereas Besiktas Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, will host the 2026-2027 final.
