The other ten teams that have already booked their place for the FIFA World Cup 2026 are Japan, New Zealand, Iran, Argentina, Uzbekistan, the Republic of Korea, Jordan, Australia, Brazil, and Ecuador. Why No European Teams Have Qualified Yet
We can see there are no teams from Europe that have booked their place in the FIFA World Cup 2026, the reason for that is that the qualification has not started yet. The first round of qualification ends in November, after that, we will have some teams from Europe who qualify.
There are twelve groups made, each having four teams in it. The top team gets direct qualification, whereas the second-placed team is in the qualification playoff.
Possible Scenario for Direct Qualification
There are sixteen European spots left to be filled, whereas nine African spots are also available, as no teams have qualified from there. Chile was one of the most consistent participants in the World Cups, but they are most probably out of the qualification race.
Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Iraq, and Oman are the teams that can still get direct qualification from Asia. Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Venezuela, and Bolivia have three spots among them for the direct qualification.
