This is the seventh season of the Canadian Premier Football League. The tournament starts from April and goes on till the month of October for the regular season, whereas the playoffs start in late October and the finals are in the month of November. Currently, the top scorers of the Canadian Premier League 2025 are Julian Altobelli and Samuel Salter. Both have scored five goals each.
Cavalry FC are the defending champions as they won the final of the 2024 season by defeating Forge FC 2–1. The goal scorers for Cavalry in that game were Tobias Warschewski and Sergio Camargo. Forge FC has won the tournament the most number of times, which is the North Star Cup (league championship) four times and the CPL Shield two times.

Canadian Premier League 2025 Season Club Names
There are a total of eight teams competing in the tournament. The eight teams are Atletico Ottawa, Cavalry FC, Forge FC, HFX Wanderers FC, Pacific FC, Valour FC, Vancouver FC, and York United FC. Basically, all the teams played against each other four times, two times at home and two times away. Every team plays a total of 28 games in the league phase.
Home Grounds
Atletico Ottawa plays in Ottawa, Ontario, at the TD Place Stadium, a venue that holds 24,000 fans. Cavalry FC is based in Foothills County, Alberta; Cavalry FC plays at ATCO Field, which holds 6,000 fans.
Forge FC, based in Hamilton, Ontario, plays from Hamilton Stadium, which has a capacity of 23,218 fans. HFX Wanderers FC is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and they play at Wanderers Grounds with a capacity of 6,500 fans.

Pacific FC is based out of Langford, British Columbia, and plays at Starlight Stadium, which has a capacity of 6,000 fans. Valour FC represents Winnipeg, Manitoba, with their venue, Princess Auto Stadium, already the league’s highest capacity stadium at 32,343 fans.
Vancouver FC is based out of Langley, British Columbia, at Willoughby Community Park, which has a capacity of 6,560 fans for the 2023 season. York United FC is based out of Toronto, Ontario, and plays at York Lions Stadium, which is limited to a 4,000 capacity.
