The Canadian Premier League 2025 Foreign Players has already begun on April 5. The last match of the regular season is October 19, whereas the playoffs start from October 22, and the final is November 9. A total of seven foreign players are allowed for each team in the Canadian Premier League 2025.
There are eight teams fighting for the Championship as well as the CPL Shield. We have also seen an addition in the player compensation budget by $69,500 to a total of $1,182,000. This season, Cavalry FC will defend its title, as it won in 2024.

The League allows a total of seven foreign players in the squad of each team. A total of five players can be in the starting lineup of the game. The following is the list of foreign players in each team.
Atletico Ottawa
The veteran Alberto Zapater and versatile Juan Castro head Atletico Ottawa’s international lineup. David Rodríguez and Iker Moreno add to that technical prowess, with Monty Patterson bringing pace and flair to the front. Kevin Ortega makes the back four a little more agile while keeping composed under pressure.
Cavalry FC
The foreign signings emphasize versatility and midfield dominance. Jesse Daley came in with a huge work rate and energy level, along with the creative flair of mid Nicolas Wahling. Defender Levi Laing adds solidity and aerial quality to the defensive line.

Forge FC
Basically, they display a strong foreign base consisting of dynamic winger Beni Badibanga and explosive forward Nana Opoku Ampomah. Marko Jevremovic is the fullback with width, while Albanian international Rezart Rama brings muscle, cuts, and distribution to the defensive end.
HFX Wanderers FC

Providing support to additional attack players are Allan Enyou (forward) and Juan Batista (forward), with two other midfield supports in Michel Cavalcante and Abdoulaye Ouattara.
