CAF Confederation Cup is a yearly football competition that is organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The tournament came into being in 2004. When we talk about the CAF Confederation Cup Winners List, we can’t rule out CS Sfaxien.

The competition is in two stages with 59 teams in total: the qualification phase and the main phase. The proper tournament starts at the main phase with sixteen teams.

Basically, each group has four teams. Each team plays one game against the rest of the teams in the group. The two best teams qualify for the knockouts, and all games are played two-legged. The finals are also two-legged. If the score is tied at the end of regulation, the team that has scored the most away goals wins. If away goals are the same then the game goes to penalties.

More Stuff:

Zamalek, the team from Egypt, is the defending champions. They beat RS Berkane from Morocco. The scoreline of the match was 2-2, but Zamalek scored an away goal, which profited them, and they were crowned winners. This helped them win their second CAF Confederation Cup title.
