Zimbabwe to Host Sri Lanka in White-Ball Series from August 29 – 2 ODI and 3 T20I Fixtures are out

Sri Lanka is all set to tour Zimbabwe starting from 29th August 2025 to 7th September 2025. There will be a total of five matches, which will include two One-Day internationals, whereas there are three T20 matches. Harare Sports Club Ground is the host for all the matches between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.

Both teams ‘ last meeting was in January 2024. Sri Lanka hosted Zimbabwe at that time, which had three one-day internationals and three T20 matches. It started with the ODI series as the first match was washed out due to rain. The next two ODIs were won by Sri Lanka, and they won the series 2-0.

The T20 series started from 14th Jan 2024, as Sri Lanka won the first match by three wickets. Zimbabwe equalled the series by winning the second T20 by four wickets. It all came to the last match, where Sri Lanka got the win and wrapped up the T20 series as well.

Across ten days, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka will play five matches. There is a two-match ODI series, whereas there is a three-match T20 series. This series will basically help Zimbabwe a lot as they have the Africa Regional Final for the  ICC Men’s T20 World Cup from the 19th of September to the 4th of October. Let us have a look at all the fixtures of the Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka series:

First ODI: 29th August, 2025
Second ODI: 31st August, 2025

First T2O: 3rd September, 2025
Second T20: 6th September, 2025
Third T20: 7th September, 2025

What is the venue for all the matches of Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka series?

Harare Sports Club Ground will host both the ODIs as well as all three T20 matches between Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka. The stadium belongs to the Harare Sports Club. It was initially founded in 1900. Basically, the stadium holds a capacity of 10,000 and is the venue for most of the matches of the Zimbabwe Cricket Team. The stadium is eventually owned by Zimbabwe Cricket.
