Cricket West Indies and CPL are set to inaugurate the new T20 Cricket Competition in the West Indies. The West Indies Breakout League 2025 schedule will consist of the Domestic teams, which will represent the popular states of the Caribbean. The existing opening game of the league took place on 25th April 2025.
Guyana Rainforest Rangers faced Windward Islands Infernos in the opening game on 25th April. So far, a few matches have already taken place, and Cricket fans are enjoying the thrilling competition of the West Indies Breakout League. The Brian Lara Cricket Academy, San Fernando, will host the complete event of the inaugural edition.
The upcoming competition, West Indies Breakout League 2025, will give a high-level Stage to the youngsters. So, that they can showcase their skills and talent for the future of the West Indies Cricket team. Cricketers from the West Indies are very popular for the Twenty20 Format, and in this competition, youngsters are showcasing their skills.

The schedule of the West Indies Breakout League 2025 will begin from 25th April to 10th May 2025. Participating teams will play a total of 17 matches, consisting of a Playoff and a Final match. The venue for all matches is the same, which will be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. Points Table and Standing Rules of the West Indies Breakout League 2025:
Currently, Trinidad & Tobago Legions are standing at the top position in the points table of the West Indies Cricket Board. The team that will be standing in 1st Position at the end of the league Stage matches will directly advance to the final match.
On the other hand, the team that will finish the league Stage matches in 2nd and 3rd position will face each other in the Playoffs match. It will be the only knockout match, and the winner will advance to the main event, the Final match. Also, the participating teams will receive 2 points for their win in the league Stage matches.

To participate in the competition, the Players must be below 30 years of age; only then are they eligible. Whereas the other condition for the eligibility is limited professional experience, less than 40 List A games, and Less than 10 International T20s.
