He took over the team and rebranded it to the Salem Spartans to give Salem its own identity. His priority is the team’s growth and to give a stage to the local talent, and by this, his love for cricket is clearly visible.
The home ground of the Spartans is the Salem Cricket Foundation Stadium. An excellent ground set against the Shevaroy Hills just outside Salem city. It was opened in 2020; it’s one of the largest cricket stadiums in Tamil Nadu. In addition, it is the pride of the team as well as the locals.
