LPL Season 6 2025 Start Date and Format Changes Revealed
Lanka Premier League 2025 dates are out, and it will happen in the months of November and December. The start date of the sixth edition of the Lanka Premier League 2025 is 27th November. At the same time, 23rd December is the date for the final of the Lanka Premier League 2025.
There are not many changes to the format of the Lanka Premier League 2025. All six teams will play twice against each other in the league phase. The top four teams will qualify for the playoffs. It is the same as the format of the Indian Premier League. In the knockouts, we will see two qualifiers, one eliminator, and one final. What are the venues of the Lanka Premier League 2025?
There are a total of three venues for the Lanka Premier League 2025. The venues are the same as the previous edition. Ranasinghe Premadasa Cricket Stadium in Colombo, Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in Dambulla, and Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy are the three venues of the Lanka Premier League 2025.
Ranasinghe Premadasa Cricket Stadium and Pallekele International Cricket Stadium have the same seating capacity, which is 35,000. On the other hand, Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium has a capacity of just 16,800.
