The International League T20 is back with a bang, and we will see the fourth edition of the competition. Basically, the ILT20 2025 Auction Date is out and it is 30th September, 2025. The United Arab Emirates will host the auction. There will be a total of six teams playing. We will see thirteen new names in the auction. The total budget of the ILT20 2025 Auction is USD 4.8 million.
When we look at the last edition, which was the third edition of the International League T20, Dubai Capitals were the champions. The Desert Vipers were playing Dubai Capitals in the final. Desert Vipers scored 189 runs in the first innings. The Dubai Capitals chased it in the last over with four balls to spare. Rovman Powell was the Man of the Match in the final for his innings of 63 runs from 38 balls. Certainly, the English all-rounder, Sam Curran, was the Player of the Tournament.

ILT20 2025 Auction Date, Time, and Venue
30th September is the ILT20 2025 Auction Date, whereas Dubai in the United Arab Emirates is the venue. There will be a total of 78 players whose names will be in the auction list. The news will fight with the budgets they have to get the players on their team to make it stronger. All the local players from the UAE will want to get a contract and play alongside the big names in cricket.
The fourth edition of the International League T20 will start on 2nd December 2025, which is the National Day of the United Arab Emirates. Lastly, the final is on the 2nd of January 2026. This is what David White, who is the CEO of the competition, said:
We are delighted to confirm the DP World International League Season 4 Player Auction date – Tuesday, 30 September. The auction is a big milestone for the league as we continue to grow as a world-class T20 tournament. The auction will be a great opportunity for our franchises to add local and international firepower to their Season 4 squads.
For the UAE players, the ACC Asia Cup 2025 – September 9-28 in the UAE – is a massive opportunity for making a global impression ahead of the Player Auction. The players will have incredible exposure in the continental championship where they will be pitted against some of the top-ranked T20 teams.
We are also set to play the third edition of the DP World ILT20 Development Tournament from later this month which – alongside the Asia Cup – is another platform for the local players to impress ahead of the Player Auction

There are a total of six teams playing in the fourth edition of the International League T20, which is the same as the previous year. Sharjah Warriorz, Gulf Giants, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, MI Emirates, Desert Vipers, and Dubai Capitals are the six teams. The total auction budget of the ILT20 2025 is $4.8 million. When we talk about the total budget for a particular team, it depends on the number of players they have retained. The more players retained, the less budget is given, and vice versa.
