The ICC has announced the Women’s World Cup 2025 time table. The dates of the tournament are 30th September to 2nd November. India and Sri Lanka are the hosts of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. Due to India-Pakistan tensions lately, Pakistan will play all of their matches in Sri Lanka.
Eventually, there will be eight women’s teams that will participate in the competition. The eight teams are India, Australia, Sri Lanka, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, South Africa, and Pakistan. All teams play one match against each other. The top four qualify for the Semi-finals.
Basically, Australia is the defending champion, as they won the last edition of the ICC Women’s World Cup in 2022. Eventually, they defeated England in the finals and secured their 7th title.

Eventually, there are going to be a total of five venues for this edition of the ICC Women’s World Cup. Four in India and one in Sri Lanka. We will see a total of 31 matches, which also include the two semi-finals and one final. Altogether, the tournament kicks off as India play Sri Lanka in the first game on 30th September at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
