ICC Women’s Player of the Month June 2025 Nominees
1. Hayley Mathews
Hayley Mathews is also known as one of the top players of the West Indies. Her game this month was brilliant. She started off slowly in the ODIs against South Africa. However, she scored 104 runs with an average of 34.66 and claimed four wickets.
On the other hand, she dominated the T20I series with her performance. She hit a great score of 147 runs with an average of 73.50, with a strike rate of 120.49. This reflects her unbeatable skills and why she belongs at the top. Hayley gracefully hit two half-centuries with the bat and six wickets. She truly is a key player for the team.
2. Tazmin Brits
The star opener of South Africa was in her best form, giving great performances. Her strong and consistent performance has made her a great nominee. She had a slow start in the ODI but scored her 4th century in the 3rd ODI. Tazmin hit a total of 184 runs in ODIs with a brilliant average of 61.33.
In the T20I, Tazim was very impressive, scoring 98 and was not out in the first game. However, South Africa lost the T20I, but Tazmin scored an impressive total of 132 runs with an average of 66 and a strike rate of 122.22.
3. AFY Fletcher
AFY Fletcher is also a strong player from South Africa. She was a key player on the team, taking the most crucial wickets. She took a brilliant nine wickets in ODI with an average of 24. Her deliveries created pressure on the batters, making it difficult to score big.
In the T20I, she was as consistent in her game. AFY took five wickets at a great average of 16.20 and an economy of 6.75. She, with her great control of the ball in the finals, led her team to victory.
