Basically, the International Cricket Council (ICC), every year, announces some of the retired players to be added to the Hall of Fame. This is done for the contribution the player has given to make his mark on the game. There are a total of seven players in the ICC Hall of Fame 2025 Cricketers List.
The players that the ICC announces include players from both women’s and men’s teams. Each year has surely had some players as a fixed number, which can change each year. This is what the ICC President, Jay Shah, had to say
This year, we are privileged to induct seven truly outstanding individuals into this prestigious group. On behalf of the ICC, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each of them and hope they cherish this well-deserved recognition as a defining moment in their cricketing journey.
