When we look at the previous season’s winner, Vizag Warriors got their hands on the trophy. They got the better of the Uttarandhra Lions in the finals. Vizag Warriors, batting first, scored 189 runs with an Ashwin Hebbar masterclass. He scored 91 runs in 56 balls, which included a total of twelve boundaries. Uttarandhra Lions could only manage to score 102 runs. Eventually, they lost the game by 87 runs. Manikanta Gangadhar was the pick of the bowlers. He got three wickets in the match. This way, Vizag Warriors won their first Andhra Premier League title.
