YONEX US Open Badminton 2025 is all set to commence from the 24th of June, while the final will be on the 29th of June for all categories. The venue for this edition is the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa, United States. This is going to the 60th edition of the YONEX US Open Badminton 2025, and the Prize Money is the reward for all the winners.
The participants will fight in a total of five categories. There are two for men: Men’s singles and Men’s doubles, while it is the same for the women’s categories. One is Women’s singles, whereas the other is Women’s doubles. The fifth category is mixed doubles.
When we look at the most titles won at the YONEX US Open Badminton, it is Erland Kops who has won the most Men’s singles titles, three titles, while Tony Gunawan has the most Men’s doubles titles, six. On the other hand, Judy Devlin has the most Women’s singles as well as doubles titles, 11 and 12, respectively. She has also won the most mixed doubles titles among females. Eventually, Finn Kobbero has won the most mixed doubles titles for men.

YONEX US Open Badminton 2025 Prize Money Distribution
The total prize money of the YONEX US Open Badminton 2025 is $240,000. There is an increase in the total prize when we compare it to the YONEX US Open Badminton 2024, as it was $210,000 for the previous year. This amount will be divided among the winners, runner-ups, semi-finalists, and more. The winners obviously earn the most in their category.
Basically, the winners of the singles category (men’s and women’s) earn $18,000 while the runner-ups get $9,120. The semi-finalists earn $3,480, and the quarter-finalists earn $1,440. Lastly, the round of 16 participants receive $840.
When we look at the winners of the doubles category (men’s, women’s, and mixed), $18,960 is the prize money for the team. $9,120 is the prize money for the runners-up, which is the same as the one for the singles category. The semi-finalists receive $3,360 while the quarter-finalists get $1,740. At the end, the players who get knocked out of the round of 16 receive $900.
