Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) is a cricket competition following a T20 format. There are only partial or, more specifically, only three matchups on the schedule so far. We will mention the TNPL 2025 schedule with the information we have. The TNPL matches will commence on 15 June 2025 and conclude on 30 July 2025. As usual, the league will have eight participating teams, and they will compete in a round-robin tournament. The mentioned format will lead to thirty-two matches, including three playoffs and a final game. Using the information we have, there will probably be five venues.
It’s the ninth Edition of the TNPL. Although it’s the TNPL, players registered under the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) can participate in the tournament. There’s no restriction on participating players, even if they are not from Tamil Nadu, as long as they are registered with TNCA.
TNPL 2025 Schedule (Date, Day, Time, Venue, Fixture)
The first TNPL 2025 match is scheduled for 15 June 2025. The top two teams, Chepauk Super Gillies and Kovai Kings, will inaugurate this season.
Chepauk Super Gillies is the most triumphant team with four championship titles, and Kovai Kings is right behind them with two TNPL titles. However, these top teams could not secure a victory in the 2024 season of the TNPL.
The games between 18 June 2025 and 25 July 2025 are yet to be scheduled. There are partial details about the league schedule because there are still four months for the competition to begin.
Considering the schedule of the previous seasons, we can determine that the league will hold one match per day. However, the weekends will experience two games per day.

TNPL 2024 Overview
The Dindigul Dragons won their first-ever TNPL title in 2024. Kovai Kings lost the match against Dindigul Dragons after DD achieved the set target in 18.2 overs.
This team reached the final round twice before the 2024 season, in 2018 and 2019. Although they ended up as runners-up in the seasons, they were very close to their victory.
