The third season of the Women’s Premier League is half a month away on 14 February 2025. Five teams will participate in this T20 domestic cricket competition to finalize the winner on 15 March 2025. The WPL 2025 Winners up till the 2025 season will be in the main segment of the post.
There will be four venues for five teams and twenty-two matches. The home ground of Delhi Capitals is not a part of the league’s venue. However, their venue was the final venue in the 2024 WPL match. The league has few teams, so their format becomes double round-robin by default.
The winner of the 2025 season of WPL is renowned because the RCB men’s team hasn’t won a single trophy. A feat that the Women’s RCB team has achieved.

If the league continues to be successful, then the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will expand the number of teams. This decision could increase the opportunities for emerging women cricketers to showcase their talent on a larger platform.
