The second season of the Global Super League has already started, as the date was 10th July. Basically, the last and final match is on 18th July. Guyana is the host for all the matches for this edition, whereas the stadium is the Providence Stadium, which has a capacity of 15,000. One of the biggest questions is Who will win the Global Super League 2025?
There are a total of five teams in the Global Super League 2025. The teams are from different domestic leagues across the world. Basically, the teams are Hobart Hurricanes (Big Bash League), Central Stags (Super Smash), Rangpur Riders (Bangladesh Premier League), Guyana Amazon Warriors (Caribbean Premier League), and Dubai Capitals (International League T20). We will see a total of eleven matches in the competition. Ten are league stage matches and one is the final.
Rangpur Riders won the previous edition as they defeated Cricket Victoria in the final. They scored 178 runs batting first and won the match by 56 runs, all thanks to Soumya Sarkar’s knock of 86* runs in 54 balls.

Who will win the Global Super League 2025?
All the teams will play a total of four matches in the league phase before qualifying for the final. There are no semi-finals in the Global Super League 2025 as the top two teams will directly play in the final. If the points are tied, then the net run rate will come into play. The team with the more positive net run rate goes ahead into the final.
As things stand, that is after six games. Guyana Amazon Warriors are at the top of the table with four points in three games. The last season’s champions, Rangpur Riders, are also on four points but with one game less played. Hobart Hurricanes and Dubai Capitals have two points each, but the Capitals have played a game more.
Rangpur Riders are surely one of the favourites to win this season as they have won both their matches. They have also defeated the current table toppers, Guyana Amazon Warriors. Their player Kyle Mayers is in great form, scoring with a strike rate above 150. Khaled Ahmed has picked up eight wickets in two games for them.
Global Super League 2025: How much prize money will the winner get?
Every team surely deserves some reward after they fight hard in the tournament to win the trophy. Apart from individual awards, there is also a prize money for the team winning it, which is distributed among the whole squad as well as the coaching members. Certainly, the prize money for the winner of the Global Super League 2025 is USD 1 million.
