Premier League Broadcast Rights: EPL 2025-26 season to begin in August

The Premier League is back with its full schedule for the 2025-2026 season. They announced the schedule on 18th June, and we have some of the most fantastic matches in the first few matchdays itself. The Football Association (FA) has also confirmed the Premier League broadcast rights for the 2025/26 season. Eventually, the first match of the Premier League 2025-2026 is on 15th August 2025, whereas the last matchweek is on 24th May 2026.

There are a lot of surprises before the start of the season itself. After almost fifteen years, Ange Postecoglou, who helped Tottenham Hotspur win a trophy and helped them qualify for the UEFA Champions League, is no longer the manager of Tottenham Hotspur. Thomas Frank has been announced as his replacement and will be the head coach of the Spurs team from the following season.

The Premier League will welcome three teams from the Championship for the 2025-2026 season for their good performances in the second division. Leeds United and Burnley got direct promotion. At the same time, Sunderland had to fight hard in the play-off qualifiers. Sunderland are back in the Premier League after eight years.

Liverpool won the last season of the Premier League in Arne Slot’s first season as a manager. Now they are neck to neck with Manchester United for the most Premier League titles. Both teams have a total of twenty Premier League titles each.
