Objective Overview

To escape, the survivors must repair 5 of 7 generators to power the exit gates. The hook and sacrifice all survivors before escaping is what killers should strive for.

Objective Overview

It is not necessary to run, and you do not need to go away with scars! Hold control to crouch-walk, reducing your noise and becoming less visible to the Killer.

Manage Skill Checks

Skill checks come up in stages, such as during the course of a repair or heal. Failing to hit them will tip the Killer off to your location, so concentrate.

Understand the Terror Radius

A heartbeat noise lets you know when Killer is nearby. The sound is louder the closer the Killers are. Use it as a cue of when to stay out of sight or run away.

Teamwork Enhances Survival

Work with teammates to quickly repair Generators and to save Hooked Survivors. Escape opportunities rise with more communication and cooperation.

Know When to Heal

Yes, healing is crucial, but it is also situational. It is alright in some situations to focus on objectives when injured, especially if the Killer is close.

Utilize Perks Wisely

Wear perks that suit your playstyle. For novices, a perk like “Bond” makes it easier to find teammates, and “Spine Chill” lets you know when the Killer is looking your way.

Avoid 3-Gen Situations

Consider the placement of a generator. Fixing the gens too close to each other can make patrolling for the Killer easier to protect them.
