Eventually, this is the 24th edition of the Challenge Cup, which is conducted by the Rugby Football League (RFL). The Rugby Challenge Cup Final 2025 is scheduled on 7th June at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London. It is also called the 2025 Betfred Challenge Cup due to sponsorship reasons.

The format of the tournament has changed this year. There will only be a total of seven rounds; earlier, it had nine rounds. The competition has already reached its business end, where only four teams remain. Basically, Hull KR, Leigh Leopards, Catalans Dragons, and Warrington Wolves are the remaining teams who will fight for the title.

Rugby Challenge Cup Final Predictions and Odds

It is clear that Hull KR are the favoured team to lift the 2025 Challenge Cup with odds as short as 13/10. Despite not having lifted the trophy since 1985, they seem to be the team to beat based on their recent form and the draw they have received.

Warrington are the second-favourites to win the Challenge Cup this year at 7/4 following a terrific win against last year’s finalists St Helens. Warrington have a strong squad and will wish to go one better in 2025 after narrowly missing out in 2024. The Wolves have pedigree and definitely represent a threat to Hull KR’s title bid.

Leigh Leopards (2023 champions) are priced at 5/1 and have the advantage of successful cup-winning experience. Besides winning the cup, they are performing well, comfortably defeating Wakefield Trinity at home. They were not the bookies’ favoured team by a long shot, but they always manage to pull a performance out of the bag on the big occasions.

Of course, Catalans Dragons are the underdogs at 15/2, given the semi-final is an away tie to their nemesis Hull KR. Not heavily-favoured, although we cannot forget their Title run in 2018 was exceptional, although they took their first scalp against Salford before they could contest the final.
